About Me

Experienced health services manager Rodney Goodie serves as CEO of the St. Hope Foundation, Inc., a nonprofit health care provider that focuses on delivering medical care for minority communities. He established the St. Hope Foundation in 1999 and has directed strategic planning for the organization’s expansion to several clinical centers and pharmacies in Houston, Texas, and other cities across the greater metro area. In charge of policy development and regulatory compliance, Rodney Goodie ensures that the staff effectively achieves all organizational goals. He has attained accreditation of the St. Hope Foundation as a Better Business Bureau (BBB) Charity and the organization has received BBB Winner of Distinction awards in 2013, 2014, and 2015.

Rodney Goodie attended the University of Houston and worked at the school’s North Campus while completing a BA in sociology. After beginning his career as a quality assurance program monitor for Mental Health & Mental Retardation, he held positions as a senior quality analyst and senior project coordinator for the Harris County Public Health and Environmental Services HIV Services Division. Mr. Goodie has also served as executive director of the Donald R. Watkins Memorial Foundation, Inc. In 2014, he earned an MBA with a concentration in health care from Texas Tech University.

Within the local community, Rodney Goodie has volunteered with the Houston Food Bank. He enjoys reading biographies in his down time, playing golf, and attending professional sports events, such as the US Open and College Football Series Championship.
